Russian President Vladimir Putin made a statement on the 31st of December 2025 about the war in Ukrain.Addressing the Russian troops on the front lines, he said "You have taken on the responsibility to fight for your native land, for truth and justice.

Millions of people across Russia, I assure you, are with you on this New Year's night. We believe in you and in our victory.The strength of our unity determines the sovereignty and the security of the fatherland, its development and its future."
